Our retreat has been designed to give you that much deserved time and space to reclaim your lust for life! Taking time for YOU to relax reset and revitalise
Nestled in the foothills of the southern slopes of the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountain ranges, the location provides not just stunning scenery but a chance to get fully ‘off grid’ and away from the noise and chaos of your everyday life! You will leave with a feeling of totally wellbeing, thoroughly nourished and revived.
Yoga with Claire, qualified yoga instructor, Claire has years of experience teaching Yoga and Dance, and has worked on many retreats around the world.
Claire sees each class as a personal journey for the learner. A voyage of self-discovery. She believes that yoga is the vehicle for the journey of the body and mind. She wants each student in her class to come out feeling good about themselves, with an overall feeling of positivity.
She is experienced at working in a group of mixed level students giving variations on postures to challenge experienced yogis and help the beginner get more out of the class.
The classes will contain a mixture of asana, pranayama and meditation and will be held on the purpose built outdoor shala space. The morning sessions will be dynamic vinyasa flows to wake up the body and mind. The evening sessions will be restorative and restful to revive your soul and aid you in a good night’s sleep. There will be two workshops on the retreat looking into more detail on the physical asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing practices)
The retreat includes a 25 minute holistic therapy or a sports massage session with Jacqui, with a career spanning 25 years she has taken a global journey through the spa, wellness and holistic and sports therapy world.
Beginning as a therapist, progressing her way into lecturing, training management, spa management through to consultancy. She project manages many spa pre-openings from plan to launch for 5 star brands such as ESPA, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Gleneagles and the Liebherr Group. She currently sits at the centre of the Spa and Wellness industry organising global and UK conferences for leading spa brand groups.
Along the way she continued to use and develop my skills by undertaking indigenous techniques such as Thai, Hawaiian, Balinese and Ayurvedic massage, all of which contribute to developing and delivering the treatment best suited to you.
Her therapies range from Sports and Deep Tissue massage to assist injury repair and alleviate aches, pains or muscle tension, through to Hot Stone and Holistic massage to balance your mind and body.
Our venue for this retreat has been carefully selected for its unique location and paired back, stylish decor with both sustainable and local features. The garden has plenty of space to relax and chill. The small village of Orient is nestled in the foothills of the southern slopes of the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountain ranges, providing stunning vistas and plenty of opportunities to for hiking or cycling should you wish to be more active!
We are delighted to announce that we are being catered by the magnificent Sophie Holmes, who catered for us during our Cornwall retreat in September. Her food is healthy and nourishing, beautiful and creative, and should be experienced!
Sophie will be sourcing all the food locally and using fresh, organic produce where possible to create a wonderful vegetarian menu for breakfasts, lunch and dinners.
We feel that free time is most important on retreat, aside from your yoga classes and workshops, holistic therapies and all the lovely food we encourage you to switch off and relax, the venue has lots of places to relax and chill, or if you want to get more active the retreat will include an easy hike to a waterfall swimming pool, and there are plenty of walks from the village to the surrounding mountains.
