I believe each class is a personal journey for the learner. A voyage of self discovery. I see yoga as the vehicle for the journey of the body and mind.
I come from a dance background and have been teaching dance for over 20 years.
I am 200 RYT qualified Yoga Teacher. I studied in Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga. My personal practice is Ashtanga, and have studied both at the Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) in Mysore, India with Sharath Jois and Saraswathi Jois, and with Authorised Teachers of the lineage throughout Asia.
I teach Ashtanga Primary Series, and Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga which includes all eight limbs of yoga, including Pranayama and Meditation. I also teach Yin Yoga with focus on hips and hamstrings. I have experience in teaching all levels and adapt my classes to suit beginners up to advanced practitioners. I have previously taught Hatha and Vinyasa Flow so have experience in these styles also. I would adapt my class to suit the learner.
Snowboarding and Surfing are my other passions and I am able to adapt my class to suit these and other sports.
I want each student in my class to come out feeling good about themselves and I believe that each class is a personal journey for the learner. I am able to work in a group of mixed level students giving variations on postures to challenge experienced yogis and help the beginner get more out of the class. I aim to heal and not hurt. My classes will contain a mixture of asana, pranayama and meditation.
I have a post graduate Certificate in Education and a Professional Diploma in Dance. I have been teaching dance for over 15 years. I professionally trained in dance and choreography at LABAN TRINITY.

I am currently working at Akasha Wellness Retreat in Transylvania, Romania teaching Ashtanga and Yin and delivering workshops in Mediation, Pranayama, Yoga Alignment, Inversions and more.
